Day for Night

I GOT A JOB!! And this one won't disappear in two days! :) I interviewed and got a job today working in a group home with adults with intellectual disabilities and mental health issues. Doesn't it sound like a blast? I'm sure you're all jealous. ;) But the crazy, budding social worker that I am, I think it's great! It's going to be amazing experience. And I start orientation tomorrow! I should be working regular shifts by next week.

Just before I went out the door to the interview, I got a call about an application I dropped off at UPS on Friday. They offered me an interview for tomorrow morning! They pay significantly better than the group home job, so I'm hoping I'll be able to work at both places. The shifts won't conflict as one is a day job and the other is all night shifts. We'll see how my body handles that! And with these two jobs I just might be able to pay my rent. :)

P.S. Now Jay can't make any Burger King jokes. Mind you, it was touch and go there for a bit. I did hand in an application for Tim Hortons. :P
