May I just say that I absolutely loathe writing cover letters?

Well, it's my blog, so I guess I can.

I LOOOOOOAAATHE WRITING COVER LETTERS!

*ahem* That is all.

Basic Day.

Thursday, August 30, 2007
Not much went on today. A shift in the weather made my head act up, so I've been taking it easy today. Tomorrow I shall return to handing out resumes and hoping someone sees fit to hire me. :)

I don't think I've ever been this broke in my life before. I'm so lucky to have wonderful parents that won't let me (or my cat) starve. I also have a very understanding landlady who is able to wait for my rent payment. I just hope to not have to make her wait too long.

I'm trying to focus on what I've got going for me right now as opposed to the things that are difficult. That's a task in and of itself. I need the practice. :)

What a Day.

First of all, I get out of bed to find an email from a call centre I had an interview with last week, saying they won't be hiring me. Then I get to the call centre where I've been working for the past couple of days, and the place is locked up with signs on both doors saying "XYZ has been closed until further notice. Employees will be contacted at a later date." 400 people are out of work.

I just want to curl into a ball and sleep for three days.

Hello, and welcome to my new personal blog, Day for Night. I'm Angela, and I'll be your host for the duration of this blog. Please make yourself comfortable.

As this is a personal blog, you may or may not be interested in the subject matter. Those that know me seem to be interested in what I have to say (or so they tell me). Others may be interested as well. I suppose you'll just have to try it out and see.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled web surfing. Thank you for visiting Day for Night.
